Job Description:

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Schedule the External and the In-House calibrations for LTCS tooling and equipment as described in the Calibration Procedure of the Engineering Order for each tool
  • Plan accordingly the calibrated Spares schedule to prevent down time in the production shops
  • Coordinate the Standards calibration schedule minimizing impact to production shops
  • Ensure all the recalled tooling and equipment has been addressed at the end of each month and the calibration lab database has been updated
  • Inspect the tooling and equipment for damage, labels, review the data in the certificates of calibration when returning from calibration vendor, address any discrepancy and Out of Tolerances
  • Create/update the packaging instructions for complex or delicate instrumentation

Requirements

The ideal Calibration Lab Planner must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training/associate degree (preferable)
  • 2 years of administrative experience required
  • Experience with data entry and creating reports desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Familiar with Metrology or calibration practices and concepts, is highly desirable
  • Microsoft Office as user (Excel intermediate required)
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent quality consciousness
  • Excellent productivity driven
  • Excellent reasoning ability
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent commitment
  • Responsible of costs
