Title: Electrical Planner
Type: 9-month contract
Location: Warton – Mon - Thu onsite, Friday WFH
Rates: PAYE 26.07/hr + holiday pay Umbrella 34.99/hr

Morson is currently recruiting an Electrical Planner on behalf of BAE Systems for their Warton site. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Manufacture and install looms in an aircraft setting.

• Perform wire testing, including continuity checks.

• Work with PLM toolsets, preferably Team Centre 14 (Unified).

• Manipulate CAD data using NX or Catia.

• Interpret wiring diagrams and manage wire data systems.

• Solve complex problems, balancing business and customer requirements efficiently.

• Adhere to schedules and optimize business outputs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and build strong liaisons with external stakeholders.

• Synthesize project information for clear reporting and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in loom manufacture, installation, and wire testing (continuity).

• Familiarity with PLM tools (Team Centre 14 preferred).

• CAD experience (NX / Catia).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex projects.

• Excellent team working and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, aligned with site hours (06:30 – 19:00 Mon-Thurs, 06:30 – 12:30 Fri).

• 37 hours per week (lunch break 12:30–13:00, unpaid).

• Start and finish times flexible within local site core hours.

• Hours may vary depending on workload.
