About the role: Responsible for leveraging data analytics to support compliance, monitoring, and strategic decision-making related to environmental regulations. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from regulatory, operational, and environmental sources to identify trends, assess risks, and ensure adherence compliance. The analyst will develop dashboards, predictive models, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights for the environmental compliance office. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to translate complex data into clear recommendations that align with environmental regulations and corporate objectives.
• Collect, validate, and manage environmental compliance data (REACH, ECHA, EPA, ECCC, etc.) from regulations and suppliers
• Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Teamcenter, and Excel
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and compliance risks, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Recommend process and workflow improvements based on data findings
• Collaborate with Engineering, M&P, Supply Chain, Quality, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow
• Support regulatory monitoring and communication activities to maintain continuous compliance
How to thrive in this role?
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• You have excellent communication skills, and you are fully bilingual in both English and French
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have at least three (3) years of experience in data analytics or data management role, in aerospace or similar field
• You have good knowledge of manufacturing concepts and processes and the ability to relate them to financial performance
• You have good sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI) and advanced Excel.
• Experience with Teamcenter is an asset.
