Take-off with Pilatus! We are seeking Avionics Technicians I/II/III to support maintenance operations in Chamblee, GA. Responsibility for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and testing of avionics and electrical systems on Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and approved maintenance procedures.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and functional testing of avionics and electrical systems on Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft
- Performance of pitot/static testing, system modifications, and IFR certifications in accordance with FAR 91.411 and 91.413
- Execution of software updates, diagnostics, and avionics configuration activities for Garmin and Honeywell systems
- Inspection of aircraft and components in accordance with Certified Repair Station requirements and approved maintenance procedures
- Documentation of maintenance activities, discrepancies, corrective actions, and production progress in maintenance records and job cards
- Compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and workplace safety standards
- Maintenance of tools, equipment, and organized work areas to support safe and efficient operations
- Support of aircraft movement, modification activities, special projects, overtime requirements, and additional operational needs as assigned
- Guidance, technical support, and mentorship for junior avionics technicians based on role level and experience
- Advanced troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and technical interpretation of blueprints and maintenance documentation for senior-level positions
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in aviation electronics preferred; FAA A&P certificate or eligibility for repairman certificate under FAR 65.101 required
- Avionics Technician I: 0-3 years of avionics installation or troubleshooting experience under supervision; military avionics experience accepted
- Avionics Technician II: 2-5 years of experience independently performing avionics troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities; experience supporting junior technicians preferred
- Avionics Technician III: 4-7 years of experience troubleshooting complex electrical and avionics systems, including mentorship and technical guidance responsibilities
- Proficiency with avionics test equipment, technical manuals, blueprints, maintenance documentation, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong troubleshooting ability, communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety, quality, and operational flexibility including overtime and field support activities

The pay range is $27.95 - $48.91 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with spanet data.
