Job Title: Cable Assembler
Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Cable Assembler, where youll engage in a variety of tasks from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Youll work with modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables, using diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts. Utilize hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to bring your creations to life. Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies, ensuring top-notch quality. You may also disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts and using hand and power tools.
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies.
Essential Skills:
- One-year experience in soldering/cable assembly.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Strong mechanical build experience with the ability to accurately interpret written work instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience working in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in the assembly of cables and cabinet assemblies.
- Knowledge of cable termination, including familiarity with crimping specifications and the use of both automated and hand crimping tools.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Solid computer skills with the ability to work from electronic work instructions.
- Experience using manual and automatic wire strippers.

Work Environment:
- Hours: 1st shift is 5am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday with Fridays scheduled off.
- 2nd shift is 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday with Fridays scheduled off.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
