As an Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and components. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Your work will have a direct impact on the companys ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Mason, Ohio location on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead a team of Electrical Engineers to design, execute, and commission Electrical Engineering scope of material handling projects and customer based programs. Collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks. Interface with customers to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs. Work with project team to manage project deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financials. Prioritize tasks based on schedule requirements. Help enforce department processes on to projects.

Must Have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Demonstrable ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to timely escalate issues and roadblocks to engineering management.
• Ability to adapt and mold execution strategy as per project needs and changing priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel 30.
• 4 + years of hands-on material handling industry experience.

• Deep understanding of electrical engineering standards and specifications
• Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced electrical engineering methods and tools
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
