In this role, youll play a pivotal part in machining parts on manual or CNC machines, vacuum forming and hand trimming plastic parts, fabrication of sheet metal details and spot weld assembly operations. Main Function Responsibilities

•tWork from complete blueprints and other written and verbal instructions.
•tResponsible for fabrication of basic development, CDR and Show Seat and Test components with or without the aid of tooling.
•tSet up machines to close tolerances may be required.
•tPrepare various parts to match customer Trim and Finish definition may be required.
•tMaintain a high quality of workmanship and assumes responsibility for work performed in assigned duties.
•tPerform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

A.\tEducation & Qualification
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
B.\tWork Experience - Technical knowledge
•\tTwo years of experience working in manufacturing or related environment required.
•\tExperience working in an experimental / prototype environment, or manufacturing setting dealing with modifications to designs, components, or assemblies is preferred.
•\tCombination of related education, certifications, licenses and experience may be considered in lieu of minimum required working experience.
C.\tProfessional Skills
•\tMust be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints
•\tSome knowledge of CAD systems is preferred.
•\tExperience with measuring tools, micrometers and calipers is required.
•\tExperience with manual machining equipment is preferred.
•\tExperience with NC programming is preferred.
•\tComputer knowledge: Microsoft excel is preferred.
•\tMust have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
•\tAbility to read and review written communication.
•\tSpeech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
D.\tBehavioral Skills
•\tMust have the ability to self-motivate and perform at a high level of intensity under close supervision.
•\tMust be dependable
•\tAttention to detail
•\tWorks well as a productive team member
•\tAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Physical Demands:
•\tProlonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
•\tBending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
•\tMust wear safety shoes and eye protection.
•\tMust have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
•\tMust have excellent hand-eye coordination.
•\tAbility to differentiate between components.

Work environment: The work environment includes manufacturing shop setting with equipment and noise.
