Your day-to-day:
- Ensure that any health and safety guidelines are followed in accordance with the EHS organisational arrangements roles and responsibilities, including maintaining (and improving were possible) 5S standards.
- Dimensional inspection of components.
- Undertaking in cycle deburring where possible.
- Changing tool inserts when and where appropriate.
- Complete works orders in accordance with Kanban system ensuring any issues (e.g. material availability, quality issues, etc.) are reported immediately to line manager.
Who we are looking for
- General PC skills
- Focused on problem solving
- Flexible to support other areas of the business
- Open to learn new skills
Ideally, you will also have
- Knowledge of CNC lathes
- Experience of using inspection/metrology equipment
- Able to read engineering drawings
