Honeywell Advanced Connected Solutions Technology (ACST) team is seeking a highly qualified Procurement Buyer II for its Broomfield, CO, Plymouth, MN, Herndon, VA or Chandler, AZ site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and drive government and commercial procurements of indirect goods and services.
• Conduct formal and informal procurements such as RFQ, RFI, RFP, budgetary quotes, and SSJ.
• Be the point of contact for fulfillment, technical teams, and suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers acknowledge orders immediately and accurately within established lead times.
• Perform full-cycle purchase order management - Create, manage, modify and close-out for the lifecycle of the procurement.
• Review, monitor and modify purchase requisitions to minimize aging.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers then maintain those relationships.
• Be the liaison between suppliers and the business unit.
• Develop RAILs and purchasing metrics to track completion status and escalate as necessary to eliminate barriers to performance and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procurement requirements and write procurement and compliance documents.
• Be the liaison between stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance with policy, laws and regulations.

The annual base salary for this position is $65,300.00 - $81,600.00.  Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of government procurement experience preparing, issuing, and analyzing formal procurements such as RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, and SSJs.
• 2+ years of Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship building experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
