Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including varied drilling and riveting operations
Ensure all parts and assemblies meet quality and specification requirements
Properly collect and dispose of waste materials, including fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags
Accurately charge time to aircraft work orders daily
Communicate effectively during shift turnovers and with leadership for coordinated work activities
Assist with shop equipment maintenance and associated Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
Support continuous improvement and Lean activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Execute sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment, or fabricated items on aircraft
Rivet structural assemblies using tools such as portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, countersinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, and various types of rivets
Safely remove fasteners without causing structural damage
Interpret and follow work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine operation sequences, rivet patterns, and usage of adhesives, sealants, and solvents
Perform self-checks to ensure defect-free assemblies before final inspection
Maintain and utilize all logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, CRABs, PCOs)
Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners
Shape and form complex angles and configurations per blueprint specifications using proper tools
Perform repairs as required per DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs
Ensure rework is completed to meet installation and conformity standards
Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow 5S principles and safety regulations
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Ensure accurate job tracking and shift handovers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years related structural assembly experience.
Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
