Summary:
Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, and installation on critical structural components
Locate and install structural components in existing aircraft structures, including blind hole applications
Perform sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation of aircraft structures
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and specifications
Utilize tooling and fixtures for depot-level structural repair and modification
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components and support system replacements
Perform sheet metal repairs and structural modifications
Use specialized aircraft tools and test equipment
Access and update aircraft data systems; initiate parts and discrepancy requests
Maintain required certifications and comply with safety and FOD procedures
Support team members across maintenance disciplines to meet schedule and cost goals
Requirements:
1+ years of experience working with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel)
1+ years of experience interpreting schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings
1+ years of experience using structural hand tools (drills, countersink cages, rivet guns, etc.)
Ability to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
