This International Field Service Representative (FSR) position will have overall responsibility to provide daily support of the Royal Jordanian Air Force F100-PW-220 powered F-16 fleet in Amman Jordan. This position will be based at Mufaq Shaheed Al-Salti Air Base (MSAB) in Jordan. The position will have some international travel to support the F100 World Wide User Meeting and Logistics Management Reviews held in the U.S. Periodic work during extended hours and weekends is anticipated.
What You Will Do
Provide informal training to personnel on techniques pertaining to the installation, operation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, inspection and repair of the support equipment/systems.
Provide constant analysis of customer maintenance practices to improve the quality of engine operation and maintenance, recommending changes as applicable.
Demonstrate the best methods for performing maintenance tasks, in compliance with technical procedures.
Emphasize safety precautions required during the performance of operation and maintenance tasks.
Work closely with P&W Sustainment Program Managers, Customer Support Engineering (CSE), and Systems Group.
Use self-initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes, generate weekly reports on all engine related activities
Maintain a sound business relationship with the customer at the base, logistics command, and headquarters ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications You Must Have
B.S./B.A. in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
8 years’ of propulsion systems and engine maintenance experience or an advance degree with 5 years of propulsion systems and engine maintenance experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
Technical understanding of the F100 engine and aircraft propulsion systems and components is required
Working knowledge of organizational and intermediate level maintenance, operation and troubleshooting
A highly motivated individual with the ability to act independently without day-to-day guidance, prioritize tasks and plans effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to conduct meetings, effective presentations, and provide training to customers at all levels

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
