We are looking for an HR Manager to provide a full and professional HR service to the Heatric Birmingham business, part of the Filtration and Energy Solutions Division of Parkers Filtration Group.This is an exciting role, which will suit a dynamic and forward-thinking HR Professional ready to make an impact and grow their career.
Through a relationship-based approach, the role is to plan and deliver excellent HR services aligned to Parker, Division and local requirements in the following key areas:
Sourcing and Selection; Change Management & Organisation Design; Learning and Development; Performance Management and Productivity; Talent Management and Succession Planning; Employee Relations; Compensation, Systems and Benefits.

Your responsibilities
- To be a driving force for change as the site transforms along technical, managerial, process and individual lines.
- Provide advice, information, and support the location management team on HR best practice, supporting managers and employees in all HR matters.
- Drive a fair and consistent approach to the implementation of HR policies and procedures to develop good employee relations.
- Using the workforce strategy, coordinate and drive employee training and development activities for the location ensuring training plans are in place for all employees; monitor and evaluate training in conjunction with the Division HR Manager.
- Working with the location management team, manage the sourcing, selection and induction processes for all permanent, temporary and agency employees. Keeping full job specifications up to date and available for all job roles.
- Work with the location management team to ensure the timely and effective completion of performance reviews, goals & objectives and 121s via Talent Central.
- In conjunction with Division HR Manager manage the succession planning and talent management process for the location.
- Champion the empowerment and engagement of team members via High Performance Teams (HPT), employee surveys, focus groups, etc.
- Ensure HR systems and policies are administered in a timely and efficient manner
Who we are looking for
- Degree qualified, with professional HR qualification i.e. CIPD.
- Proven HR management experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to include the ability to influence and persuade across the location.
- Ability to build trust and confidence through strong professional relationships across the division.
- Change management experience essential
- Previous experience of HR best practise and its implementation, including strong knowledge employment law knowledge and experience
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels at the locations.
- Good leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
Ideally, you will also have
- EHS knowledge would be an advantage.
