Health Manager – Would you like to make a real impact on employee health and wellbeing at Icelandair?
We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual to take on the role of Health Manager, leading the design and implementation of health-related initiatives within the company. You will play a key role in creating a workplace environment where wellness, prevention, and employee wellbeing are prioritized – in close collaboration with the People & Culture team and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and follow up on company’s health and attendance policies.
- Enforce specific aviation-related regulations and plans regarding safety and health
- Communication with occupational health providers and manage medical consultation services.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on health and well-being matters.
- Planning and implementation of health promotion initiatives and educational activities
- Monitor and analyze sickness absence data and develop relevant improvement actions.
- Participation in the development of People strategy with a focus on employee wellbeing
- Other People-related tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- University education relevant to the role
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety is an advantage
- Experience in health promotion and preventive work is desirable.
- Experience in aviation-related roles is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Initiative, independence, and strong organizational abilities.
