Description:You will be the International Business Development Senior Staff for our international business development team. Our team is responsible for driving growth and expansion in European spanets, leveraging consumer research, point-of-sale data, and syndicated data to inform spaneting, distribution, and manufacturing proposals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the International Business Development Senior Staff, you will be responsible for evaluating and reviewing spanet data to identify opportunities and challenges in international spanets, and reporting findings to stakeholders. You will play a key role in developing and implementing new products, business building programs, and sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating consumer research, point-of-sale, and syndicated data for international spanets
• Developing and presenting spaneting, distribution, and manufacturing proposals
• Participating in central development and implementation of new products and business building programs
• Providing sales analysis and recommendations to inform distribution, spending, and brand promotional strategy
• Collaborating with regional sales and spaneting teams as a liaison

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in business development and/or operational experience
• Understanding of the Department of Defense Security Assistance Management processes and application to Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint for the creation of plans and briefings suitable for internal and external customer presentation
• Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives
• Deal closer – highly effective at bringing tasks and projects to a successful and timely conclusion
• Knowledge of potential customers and demonstrated customer relations skills
• Ability to understand and interpret international customers needs and requirements and relate them back to programmatic requirements
• A high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel worldwide, without restriction. Must be able to operate and thrive in a fast-paced international environment. Must be self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive arena.
• Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of MFC process requirements, limiting the learning curve associated with this new position.
• Must have the ability to travel internationally
• Must have a final Secret security clearance to be considered

• Experience in Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s products and services
• Demonstrated capture expertise
• Experience in US Integrated Army Air Defense systems, US DOD security assistance processes, and non-US countries’ acquisition processes
• USG OMC/Embassy experience in European Region and US EUCOM experience
• Technical knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense and associated systems, particularly THAAD.
• International business experience with knowledge of cultures and customs
• Graduate degree in Business or Engineering
• Speaks foreign language(s) or experience living/working in a foreign country
• Typical Minimums Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with some professional experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
