As a Manufacturing Support Team Member Senior (Level 3) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Mid Build team through leadership in production, quality assurance, and process improvement. What You Will Be Doing

  • Support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Mid Build team.

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams including production planning, material management, and engineering to ensure workflow efficiency and issue resolution.

  • Drive execution of manufacturing plans, process improvements, and performance metrics in alignment with cost, schedule, and quality targets.

  • Utilize SAP, Solumina, and other production systems to track work progress, manage material flow, and support process reengineering efforts.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to peers and production personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and FOD-prevention standards across work areas.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior experience working on the C-130 production line at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA.
• Strong knowledge of Marietta Process Specification (MPS), Engineering Specifications and inspection practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with SFM, QADS, DIMS, and EDW parts warehouse systems.
• Familiar with sheet metal fabrication
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated coaching tendencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in demonstrating and facilitating training in shop environments.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to provide hands-on skill demonstrations for C-130 accessory and assembly installations.
• Experience reviewing work for consistency, correctness, and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Continuous mental and visual attention required to provide training and skill demonstrations for the installation, assembly and/or fabrication of C-130 accessories and assemblies. Check work of employees

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
