The Advanced Product Center is seeking an individual with operations & project management experience who will be responsible for leading the Product Manager team at APC, encompassing all Production Programs & New Product Introduction (NPI) programs across multiple Raytheon Business Units.
The APC Product Manager Leader will manage a team of primarily entry to senior professionals who are accountable for schedule, performance, Hour Per Unit (HPU), Out of Flow (OOF), yield, OTD, risk and opportunity management, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement for multiple program(s).
What You Will Do
Lead teams collaboratively across all of Operations and Supply Chain and key business partners in the Program Operations Management (POM), Program Management Office (PMO), Engineering and Mission Assurance.
Establish and track APC performance to plan with demand, schedule, material and cost while working with other functional support areas.
Serve as the escalation point within the factory for all Programs, voice of customer/Programs into the factory.
Determine how teams’ assignments are completed and set day-to-day goals and objectives for the team members.
Communicate with leaders within the factory and functional leaders to drive accountability for end-to-end product delivery.
Ensure policies, practices and procedures are followed by direct reports. Provide primary input to hiring, terminations, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Own & drive factory meetings such as HMT, Retrospective/IPT and Tiers.
These include (but are not limited to) direct engagement with teams. Responsible for ad-hoc requests from Programs/POM, owns LRE/EAC activities with factory managers and POMs to include HPU’s, Scrap & Attrition. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reports, procedures, and directives.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
Experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Experience in factory operations, program management, engineering and/or supply chain with and leading in a team environment.

Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma/CORE, and other Operational Excellence methodologies
Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems
Experience using metrics to develop implementation of OTD while achieving cost and quality requirements

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
