Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Regional Director Material Sales (Non-executive) to lead our Material Sales team to be based out of Beijing, China.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, motivate, and coach a team of professional salespersons in planning and executing sales campaigns and activities to sell the company’s offerings
Focus on and meet team sales targets and Long Range Business Plans (LRBP) through new business development, growing existing customer accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction with company products and services
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with commercial aerospace customers, suppliers, peers, direct reports and other stakeholders
Understand customers’ requirements to ensure customized aircraft parts solutions for their aircraft maintenance operations. Track progress of the solution and maintain company and customer situational awareness
Collaborate with various Boeing business units to utilize the most efficient and effective sales strategies.
Develop and execute integrated organizational plans and acquire resources to achieve organizational objectives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years sales experience in the aviation industry.
Bachelors degree or other equivalent professional qualification
Proven track record leading a team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
In-depth industry knowledge of aerospace material planning, sourcing, purchasing, and procurement processes
Familiarity with the aerospace industry supply chain, suppliers, and their products
Proficient in written and oral Chinese (Mandarin)
