Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
Act as point of contact for the avionics team.
Assist the MRO Manager in avionics operation, manpower planning and allocation of duties.
Responsible for aircraft avionics project supervision.
Responsible for the training and development of all avionics staff.
Assist the MRO Manager in maintaining staff disciplines.
Ensure safety measures are never compromised at all times.
Accomplishes regular servicing and maintenance of aircraft radio, electronic and electrical systems as required in the maintenance checks in accordance with the procedures and standards set forth in the applicable manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, and applicable CAAP regulations
Performs troubleshooting, testing, corrective repairs, or unit replacements of radio and other electronic systems and instruments including wiring, lights, switches and other electrical parts of the aircraft consistent with the quality standards set by the aircraft and/or component manufacturers
Determines defects and unsatisfactory conditions present in the aircraft and diagnoses their causes to pinpoint areas or systems where corrective actions are needed
Accomplishes all issued Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications and alteration instructions pertaining to aircraft avionics systems
Signs off work accomplishments in the appropriate records, forms and other documents, which may be needed in the performance of duties
Executes all work assigned in an efficient and cost effective manner
Performs other tasks and functions as directed by the immediate Supervisor

- Bachelor’s Degree in Avionics Technology, Electronics and Communications or equivalent
- At least 3 years related experience
