Position: Airworthiness Coordinator      
Location: Farnborough or Haywards Heath
Working Hours: Full time, 40 hours per weekGama Aviation has an exciting new opportunity for an Airworthiness Coordinator to join our team based out of our Farnborough HQ or Haywards Heath.The Airworthiness Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the myairops CAM and other tracking system databases to ensure suitable CAMO control for the Aircraft service line.This role would be well suited to an individual who truly values teamwork and would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.  Equally, if you are keen to develop your skills, there is huge scope to learn from our highly experienced team.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent Gama Aviation and its associated companies at customer meetings or onsite projects when requested.
  • Liaise with external companies on behalf of the customer and as requested by the customer/AOC.
  • Create and alter aircraft maintenance work packs and communicate them to all relevant parties as and when appropriately approved.
  • Close aircraft work packs following their completion and report any anomalies back to the customer as and when appropriately approved.
  • Ensure timely updates of the Maintenance Programme and productions of Reliability Reports.
  • Ensure the tracking system utilised for the managed Aircraft is kept up-to-date for the assigned Aircraft.
  • Produce Airworthiness Management reports in line with the customer/AOC requirements.
  • Oversee the receipt and entry of aircraft technical logs and to alert customers/AOC to any anomalies arising. Review technical logs defects to highlight any repeat defects to MMAS.
  • Assess mandatory and regulatory documentation for applicability to assigned Aircraft.
  • Assisting in the development and assessment of the SB Peer Review programmes for the assigned Aircraft.
  • Ensuring completion of internal training requirements and application for necessary approval renewals and Competence Assessment requirements in-line with the CAME and related procedures.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Essential:
  • Experience gained within a CAMO environment to be able to make suitable decisions over the Airworthiness of the assigned Aircraft.  
  • Strong communication skills to strive to deliver the best possible Airworthiness services, deliver the company values and objectives. 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of UK CAA and EASA Part M/Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyse and optimise process improvements.
Advantageous
  • Completion of General Familiarisation Training on one of the Aircraft Types listed on the company approval certificate.
