Position SummaryInformation Technology (IT) summer interns help develop, implement, and support technologies that run Parkers operations worldwide. These paid positions prepare undergraduate college students for professional roles.
Essential Functions:
- Assisting team members with the deployment of enterprise technologies.
- Supporting other IT team members and end-users.
- Monitoring and responding to daily support tickets and calls.
- Recommending improvements that simplify business processes and reduce costs.
- Documenting team procedures and writing reports.
- Support and drive adherence to IT security compliance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related area
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- US Person Status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple assignments
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
- Ability to relate to all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
