Tasks
As an intern in Commercial Controlling, you will support the team in analyzing revenue trends and cost developments and simplifying reporting processes. The focus is on revenue, route and network profitability as well as supporting our specialist departments as a controller.
- You will take responsibility for in-depth analyses and develop your own ideas to automate the answering of these questions. You will use modern tools and approaches and further develop our BI reporting
- You will become an expert in contribution margins, drive profitability simulations and support the team with cost forecasts and mapping in their tools
- You will help our team to make workflows and analyses smarter and more efficient and to create analyses and presentations tailored to the target group

Requirements
You should meet the following requirements:
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a mandatory internship certificate must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelors and Masters degree program (gap year)
- Analytical thinking is your strength, you use BI tools to make smarter and more efficient decisions
- You enjoy simplifying and visualizing complex issues
- An independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working is part of your DNA
- You speak good English and are not afraid to contribute your opinion and point of view
- You are familiar with the basics of the airline industry
- Experience from previous internships is a plus
- You are confident in using Office 365 and are a pro in Excel You are open to learning new systems (SAP CO, etc.) You have initial experience with AI applications and are familiar with programming languages
