What you’ll need to do the role
We are seeking a new member of our leadership team at easyJet Switzerland. The role of Nominated Person Crew Training is a key role ensuring training compliance with our local Civil Aviation Authority in Switzerland, the FOCA and the successful delivery of our training strategy for our Pilots and Cabin Crew employed by easyJet Switzerland. In this role, you will lead the Training Team to deliver the training required for our flight crew to the highest standards in a timely manner to support our flight operations. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Nominated Person Flight Operations, Rostering Team Manager and the central Training team. The tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Coordinating all questions and matters relating to training standards, regulations/provisions.
· Building the crew training strategy in agreement with the Managing Director and other AOCs.
· Management of Training suppliers.
· To establish the training department budgets and verify training invoices.
· To act presently as ATQP Manager while organising the transition towards Baseline EBT.
· To manage the EZS ATO.
· Working closely with the Nominated Person Flight Operations to establish processes and courses for new entrants, crew competency checks and promotions.
· To hold editorial responsibility for the Operations Manual Part D and to coordinate with the other Nominated Persons the contents of the Operations Manual (Part D) and all relevant training publications.
· To appoint check and training personnel in close cooperation with the Nominated Person Flight Operations.
· To supervise all flight and cabin crew training.
· To ensure, in cooperation with the Rostering and Crewing Manager, that all required checks, simulator checks, training & first aid instruction, medical examinations are planned in due time for licensing and renewal of licenses.
· To conduct inspection flights, to check the professional standard and development of the flight and cabin crews and to prescribe additional training.
Key Requirements
The key to success in this role is a thorough knowledge of the regulations, processes and procedures and excellent, efficient execution of these with a "right first time" mentality. You will need to be fluent in English with a good level of at least one Swiss National Language (German, French or Italian).
