Overview
Reliance Aerotech Services, a leading provider of aviation staffing, recruitment, and aviation MRO special project solutions, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing team of aerospace professionals. This role is instrumental in identifying and cultivating new client relationships within the aerospace community—particularly organizations seeking engineering, program support, or aircraft maintenance talent.
Note: While our office locations include Pensacola, Florida; Bridgeport, West Virginia; Tucson, Arizona; and Smyrna, Tennessee, the final work location for this position is to be determined and may potentially be remote. We welcome qualified candidates from all regions to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development
Develop and execute comprehensive short- and long-term sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and increase awareness of our specialized staffing and aviation solutions.
- Client Acquisition & Networking
Leverage your aviation network to identify and generate new business opportunities. Attend key industry events (e.g., NBAA, trade shows, conferences) to build relationships and represent the company.
- Account Management
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts—delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships built on value and trust.
- Proactive Outreach
Engage potential clients through multiple channels, including phone, email, LinkedIn, social media, and aviation industry platforms to uncover hiring needs.
- Pipeline Management & Reporting
Maintain an accurate and current sales pipeline using CRM tools. Track lead generation, conversion rates, and report regularly in sales meetings.
- Customer Relationship Development
Build strong relationships with decision-makers across the aviation industry—from business aviation to commercial operators—to position Reliance Aerotech Services as a trusted solutions partner.
- ATS & Documentation
Record all client interactions and sales activities in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Customer Management System (CMS) ensuring clean and comprehensive data for forecasting and reporting.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
Collaborate with the executive team to share insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape the company’s growth strategy.
- Industry Representation & Travel
Represent Reliance Aerotech Services at client meetings and industry events (approximately 10-20% overnight travel). Attendance at major industry events such as NBAA and similar conferences is expected.
