Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Analyst plays a crucial role within the Sales Resources Group by leading and overseeing the strategic development and analysis of the entire Agency/TMC/Corporate portfolio for designated markets/regions. The core objective is to provide actionable insights through effective reporting for the sales teams and leadership. This position involves extensive coordination with diverse business stakeholders across internal and external departments. The focus is on strategic incentive design, modeling, and pricing methodology within the cost of sale framework, as well as sales analysis, steering, trend identification, and the provision of market and account-specific opportunities. The ultimate aim is to ensure clear visibility into key drivers and deliver specific recommendations for action.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Unless subject to a collective bargaining agreement in the country to which an employee is being transferred; the employee retains their original date of employment and company seniority in the new country. Upon transfer, the employee is removed from payroll and benefits in former country and appropriately placed in the salary range and payroll / benefits systems of the new country.
Human Resources will assist with the terms and conditions of employment in light of labor agreements, collective agreements, country work rules and labor laws. In the new country, the employee is reinstated using the same employee id, date of employment and company seniority dates.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience required
- Three years’ of experience in analysis of airline such as sales, network, revenue management, marketing, financial planning, or operations strategy; or other relevant commercial experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Significant exposure to SQL and Relational databases
- Advanced Excel, Word, PPTX skills
- Foundational knowledge of revenue drivers for airline and B2B sales
- Understanding of revenue management and network levers and metrics
- Ability to communicate insights to broad audience including field sales managers, commercial leaders, and customers
- Ability to collaborate on design of analytical approach to projects and identification of key information needed to support project objective
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts
- Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Hong Kong for any employer without sponsorship
- Effective time management for multiple projects and deadlines
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
